The Salvage Press

A pair of press marks, plain and fancy, for a design-led fine press printer, intended to be printed exclusively in small sizes by letterpress.

For inspiration, the client showed us pages of Jan van Krimpen’s monograms. A choice of solid and inline versions helps the Press match the moods of their titles. The step-and-repeat pattern provides options for gift wrap and endpapers. Direction by The Salvage Press.
